Shingle Style

Sanderson Residence
The Sanderson home was designed using typical shingle style features. These include a staircase tower, a porch under the main roof line, a Palladian window. An asymmetrical facade with steeply pitched roof lines is also found on this home, as well as multi-level eaves. To take advantage of their ocean views the owners chose a typical shingle style window treatment; multi-pane sash over a one pane sash.

Collins Residence
Designed with the identifying features of a shingle style home; hipped roof with cross gables, strips of four windows, and Palladian windows. The Collins' selected a traditional shingle style window feature (multi-pane sash over a single pane sash) to capitalize on the views offered by the golf course setting.
